How to update Default Chat Messages sent to clients upon certain events

Set Default chat messages

Default Messages page allows admins to update default chat messages sent to clients upon certain events:

• Toggle Live Chat
• End Live Chat
• Transfer Live Chat
• Live Chat Ticket Picked 
• Live Chat Ticket Assigned



Default Message Types

Allowed default message types includes:
• Text
• Stella Bot Node
• No Message
• System Default Message  (Only available to ticket picked or assigned)


Text type default messages 

Text type default messages allows admin to send the text message configured to client upon event triggered. Locale setting is not supported by text default message, please use Stella bot Node type default message for locale support. 

Stella Bot Node 

Stella Bot Node type default messages triggers the bot flow for client upon event triggered. Admins can use this type of default messages to support locale using built-in functionalities of Stella / Woztell Bot Platform. For ticket picked or asigned events, agent name will be available as the first variable in template variables.

No Message

No Message will be sent when event triggered if admin chose this message type.

System Default Message

System Default Message type default message is only available to ticket picked or ticket assigned events. An English text message will be sent to client to notify client who picked the ticket. The message format is “Your live chat request will be handled by (agent name)”
