How to migrate a phone number to a different WABA?
If you would like to use the same phone number with another WABA, you could request a phone migration to our Support team. (This only applies for migrating the phone number from another BSP to Stella)
Please note we could only migrate the number to a different WABA if both source and destination WABA use the same Facebook Business Manager.
Before You Start
To be eligible for migration, the business must meet the following criteria:

If all the requirements are fulfilled, please find the migration procedure below:
1. Start the WABA setup with embedded sign-up in the channel.
2. Select the existing Facebook Business Manager account (which was used to create the source WABA) and create a new WABA account.
3. Once the WABA account has been set up, please DO NOT continue to step 2 in the following screenshot.
5. Submit a ticket to Stella Support with the new WABA ID and the phone number to migrate the number from another BSP to our new WABA 6. Our support will arrange a time with you to receive SMS/voice call for verification during migration
7. You can continue the embedded sign up flow and select the number for deployment
**Please note the phone number will still be in use until it is connected with the new WABA, therefore there is no need to unsubscribe from the BSP before the migration. The number will be disconnected automatically from the old WABA once you have successfully deployed the number if you are using embedded signup (step 7).
- There will be minimal downtime when deploying the number to our server
- All the logs/conversations will be lost, they will not migrate to the new server
- The Offical Business Account (green check) will transfer together with the phone number
