What is the best practice if the number is associated with an IVR?

The phone number you used for registration must be able to receive SMS or voice calls directly.

If your phone number is behind an IVR (
interactive voice response), WhatsApp can share 1-2 phone numbers that the registration phone call will come from with you. This way you can redirect the registration call to an employee or mailbox where the registration code will be captured.

If you can redirect the number with IVR, you must add the phone number to your WhatsApp business account first (complete step 11-step 13), then submit a ticket to Stella support team. W
e will submit a WhatsApp Support ticket asking for the registration call phone numbers and stating the phone number you are trying to register in the ticket for you.

After this process, you could proceed to Step 14 to deploy the number with embedded sign up.
