Why can't I create a new Slack inbox channel for a new member?

Here are some reasons you cannot create a new channel:

1. There is a guest user in the Priority group You can find the guest details in the Slack documentation here.


2. The Slack create channel settings for your workspace has been updated recently

Please follow the steps below to change all the settings back to the default setting. Please also let us know before updating any settings in Slack as it may affect the Slack inbox function.

1. In your Slack app, select your workspace name in the top left corner. Under Settings & administration, select Workspace settings from the drop-down list.

2. Go to the Permissions tab at the top.

3. Scroll down to Channel Management and choose Expand.

4. Please change all the settings back to the default settings.

5. Save your settings.
