How to use Template Message & Pin Message Extension

Template Message Extension

Other than using bot commands to send template messages, Stella Inbox provides selecting template messages using message extension in Teams also. Message extension allows users to search template messages created on Stella / Woztell Bot Platform. For users who wish to use a large number of template messages, the message extension allows them to quickly find the message they need instead of searching through the carousels to find the correct button for the message.

Send Template using Message Extension

Click the extension on message bar. A panel will be popped up, search the template you need by using the search bar.



Choose the template you need to add the template variables setting card into your message text area.

Send the message out, and you will see the card in the conversation . Set necessary variables required, then send the message.

Pin Message Extension

Pinning Stella Inbox Template Message Extension to message bar let users find the extension more easily. To pin it to message bar, first click β€œ...” on the message bar to find Stella Inbox extension. Right click Stella Inbox and choose β€œPin”. Then you can see the extension is added to message bar.
