Why is my Facebook Business Manager verification button invalid?

If the "Start Verification" button is invalid (in light blue color) in the Business Settings, you will need to apply for a Facebook Developer App at https://developers.facebook.com/ and fill in all the App info in the Settings-Basic before doing the Facebook Business verification.
